Hendersonville is home to the annual North Carolina Apple Festival! 2019 marks the 73rd year of this delicious tradition, which takes place on Main Street. The weekend’s events include a street fair, arts & crafts vendors, entertainment, children’s activities, carnival rides, the King Apple Parade, lots of food, voting for the best apple variety, live music, dancing, a great way to meet Hendersonville’s apple growers, meet local business owners, and much, much more! The Festival takes place Fri-Sun from 10am-8pm, and Mon. from 10am-5pm. Located on Main Street from 6th Ave to Caswell St. Hendersonville produces the vast majority of North Carolina’s apples, and apple farming is a way of life in Hendersonville.
