Our first concert in October will have the theme of music of America - entitled “Americana”.  In support of the upcoming Veterans Day as well as the coming celebrations of our nation’s 250th Semi Quincentennial, our long time director, Winford Franklin, has programmed pieces with a patriotic flair.  One of the pieces will be the popular “Armed Forces Salute” arrangement where all of the themes of the 6 service branches will be played.  There will be a patriotic sing-along piece as well, pieces from Broadway and film, and a featured vocal soloist.

Our “Holiday Concert”, our very popular annual concert, will feature a wide selection of both secular and religious holiday favorites.  As a special treat, we are also hosting the very popular Blue Ridge Ringers, a well loved and very popular local bell choir led by conductor Blaine Russell. The Ringers will perform a variety of popular Christmas Carols.
